Reporting on Actual Volume of New Chemicals Previously Registered below 0.1 t/y under K-REACH
The revised Act on Registration, Evaluation, etc. of Chemical Substances (K-REACH) entered into force on Jan 1st, 2019. Previously, simplified registration was applied to new chemical substances in quantities less than 1 t/y (2015.1.1~2019.12.31) or less than 0.1 t/y after 2020. After revision, new chemical substances manufactured or imported in low volume below 0.1 t/y only require notification rather than registration.

MIIT issued a new mandatory national standard: Rare Earth Productions Packing, Marking, Transport and Storage, and is currently seeking feedback from the public.
