On 23 May 2018, Korea National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER) announced updates on South Korea’s GHS Classification List. The classification information, pictograms, signal words, hazard statements, M factors and UN No., of nine toxic chemical substances (Given No. 2018-1-833~841) were newly added to the list. The details can be accessible here. The updates are effective immediately.
The 9 substances were officially appended to South Korea’s Toxic Chemical Substance List (TCSL) as seen in 30 March 2018 NIER Announcement No. 2018-9.
The previous update to the GHS Classification List was made on 28 Feb 2018 (CL news).
